In May 2022, we happened to land on a fundraising page set up by one of the employees at The Brambles Day Nursery. Molly was trying to raise money for new play equipment by hiking and climbing Pen y Fan in Wales. We got in touch and emailed over some funding resource information, to help them on their way in reaching their target. In late June we heard back from the nursery, who invited us west to discuss things further with them!

The nursery had seen our Mulberry Toddler Tower and wanted to know if this would fit within an existing bark pit area, replacing some wicker huts and re-surfacing the area. They also were interested in some Tipi’s, to replace the huts, including some extra surfacing around this, in a new location and surfacing around a piece of existing equipment too.

Following our visit to measure up these areas, we produced a design proposal and quote in July and a couple of months later, in September, the nursery had rasied enough funding and the go ahead from their governors to place their order with us for the whole project! Installation was successfully completed in October 2022 and we were kindly provided with the following comments:

“We are extremely happy with the service from start to finish with all the work force. We were amazed with how quickly everything was installed. Everyone was very polite and understanding to our need for safeguarding the children. The team went the extra mile with securing our own additional equipment for the children to play on, we would highly recommend Sawscapes Play. Thank you to the whole team for the stress free service you provided.”
