Back in early 2021, Stanmore Primary School contacted us to take a look at their KS1 Play Area, after them having carried out the removals of an existing climbing unit, due to failing an inspection for rot. This included the equipment’s existing safety surfacing too.

Having visited site and discussed options with the school, they opted to go for our Pico Eagle Log Climber, as part of the first phase of works in this area. The Early Years Lead loved the open-ended style of play that this log climber provided. She knew her children would be perfectly able to handle the physical challenge!

We successfully completed the installation of this in January 2022, along with laying Autumn Blend Bound Rubber Mulch safety surfacing, to cater for the equipments critical fall height, meeting both BS EN 1176 & BS EN1177 safety standards.

The school were impressed with our work and between the initial contact in early 2021 and the KS1 Area install completion, the school contacted again and invited us to create a new KS2 Trim Trail Area, in a new location, at the top of their school field.

Completion of this area was in August 2022 and consisted of a Log Weaver, Rattle Bridge, Wiggle Ropes, Vine Ropes & Rubber Stepping Posts, with a later addition of a Mini Mountain!
