After Little Me Day Nurseries added a new branch, Mandy Khaira contacted us to redesign the garden into two areas. The smaller play area, designed for babies aged 0-2 years, offered safe, vibrant play. The larger area was designed for 2-4-year-olds, with exciting play features to encourage active exploration.
The existing office building had block paving. We transformed the space with all-weather surfaces that were both safe and engaging. Working within the £30,000 budget, we focused on creating environments that fostered play and learning. In the smaller area, we installed a climbing unit with a slide for toddlers to explore. We also added an outdoor classroom for creative activities, along with soft artificial grass for comfort and safety.
The larger area featured a bigger climbing unit, complete with a slide for more adventurous play. We included another outdoor classroom to enhance outdoor learning experiences. Both spaces were enclosed with colourful 1.2m-high fencing to ensure safety. We also designed wide gates to accommodate double pushchairs.
Our team completed the project on time, just before the nursery’s open day. Little Me Day Nurseries’ staff were excited about the new gardens. The children now enjoy a fun and safe environment that enhances their learning and play.
“I have worked with Sawscapes Play for around 5 years on various projects, the team are professional, produce amazing play equipment and deliver on time. Thank you for doing a great job. The garden looks fantastic, please pass this on to Stuart and his team!”
