All Saints C of E Aided Infant School sits in Hampshire’s picturesque countryside, surrounded by trees and open spaces. The school wanted a play unit to challenge older children while complementing its beautiful, natural setting. They chose the Birch, a treehouse-themed unit designed to provide adventure and inspire imaginative play.
The Birch Treehouse Unit features four towers linked by a pull-up ramp, rock hold climbing wall, and rattle bridge. Additionally, it includes two angled bridges, a fireman’s pole, and slides of varying heights, offering diverse challenges. With tree-like posts, green canopy panels, and rustic towers featuring roofs and windows, it creates a charming, natural aesthetic. Seamlessly blending into the woodland-inspired setting, the unit enhances the play area’s functionality while fostering imaginative and active play.
Meanwhile, students eagerly watched the installation process unfold, gathering during breaks to see the equipment take shape. Their anticipation turned to delight when the unit was completed, as they enthusiastically explored the climbing walls, bridges, and slides. The Birch quickly became a centrepiece for active play and imaginative adventures.
The installation took only five days, thanks to the use of pre-built components, reducing disruptions to the school’s schedule. The Birch Treehouse Unit delivers a perfect balance of physical challenges and creative play opportunities, helping children build strength, coordination, and social skills through shared activities and exploration.
Staff and students alike praised the transformation, appreciating the unit as a beautiful enhancement to the play area and a valuable tool for fostering outdoor play and development.
