In July 2021, we came across a social media post from The Holmesdale School about their exciting Amphitheatre project. Intrigued by the idea, we reached out to the school and shared examples of similar projects we had successfully completed. The school was keen to explore the possibility of working together and invited us to visit the site to discuss the project in more detail.
During the site visit, we listened to the school’s vision for the amphitheatre and collaborated on a design. We then provided a detailed quotation based on our discussions, ensuring the design fit the space and met their needs. After receiving feedback, we revised the design, adding a shelter to the stage area. This addition ensured that outdoor performances could continue, even in challenging weather conditions.
Delays with planning permission occurred, but the project received approval in June 2022, allowing us to proceed. We followed all safety standards and completed the installation in October 2022, bringing the amphitheatre vision to life.
The Holmesdale School was thrilled with the finished project. The smooth installation process and exceptional craftsmanship exceeded their expectations. Impressed with the results, the headteacher expressed interest in collaborating on another project for his new school. We look forward to the opportunity for future work together—watch this space!
