The Basket Swing requires safety surfacing due to the fall height. The depth of the surfacing depends on the type you choose, there are many types available – see our section on Surfacing for more information: Safety Surface Options
All our poles now come with steel feet to prevent ground rot. Paired with regular maintenance and inspection, the timber should have a much longer lifespan.
